The dreams of untold stories,
Thoughts that flicker like a camp fire.
My conquest for all glory,
Can only succeed my doing.
All heros are fake,
Only wanting through our eyes.
Something we can not make,
Telling ourselves they're better are lies.
We search for innerpeace,
Whilst destroying ourselves through hatred and abuse.
Only a short time in this body we lease,
Yet confusion and destruction, we can only lose.
Telling ourselves they're better is wrong,
Believing others can be seen.
Is where our heros come from,
Try something new with fear.
Prove to yourself and you'll be keen.
"We don't need another hero!",
It's been said before.
The heros we create in our minds,
Only hurts the ones we care for.

There is no end to suffering
and so I cannot rest
my mind is forced to wander
along the frozen paths of death.
