Using a blog or MySpace to promote your business

Everybody knows that the internet is the largest growing technical community in the world! Its how we shop, how we pay our bills and of course how we communicate from one to another. So why not promote a personal business?
Honestly with Myspace becoming as popular as it is, that would probably be the best bet! There are millions who belong to this google oriented site. People from all over the world will search randomly just to see what they come up with. Myspace is also a good choice purely for the fact that you can make it personable. A good example would be a small franchise known as PlaynTrade that is slowing growing into something great whether it be from public just randomly walking in or...people finding it on of all places Myspace.
Call me a sell out if you will but in the end you'll find that personalized profiles will work out in the long run. If you still have doubts, there are always other ways to promote a business.
