A guide to buying '80s music

When music television was music television and music videos were low-budget cut short flicks with permeating artistry of music left the '80s music genre never to be recreated in its format. Women in music made the bad boy side with angelic voices such as Pat Benetar, Patty Hines in the Pretenders, Heart, Stevie Nicks, and left dazzling in rythmic forum with Gloria Estafan in the Miami Sound Machine to Stacy Q, Belinda Carlise, and the Bangles. Glamor bands probably took center stage and will alway leave the mullet as one of the most unforgettable hairdo's of our time. Women craved and cooed over Poison and left their heart to Warrant. Everyone including men felt Cinderella but in their hearts Gun's and Roses. Feeling a little Def Leppard to the point of Faster Pussycat. Ozzy Osbourne couldn't take any of it neither could Metellica, Slayer, or Megadeath and kept hairbands as metal as machine because Anthrax could take no "Shxxt." Even though the metal was hard the New Wave generation softened the scope. From U2 to Duran Duran with Robert Smith singing for The Cure and Dave Gahn in his Levi's in Depeche Mode. All of it a bit of Ministry but it was with House Music that brought it all together. Though Run DMC took center stage and will always be the forefront of the beginnings of rap.
