Poetry: Unspoken thoughts

My thoughts often wander.
I think of things that may matter some day.
People think I am insane.
I don't care what they say.

You must have a plan.
What would you do?
It wouldn't seem so absurd,
If it happened to you.

What will I do if one day I am standing in the closet,
And all the sudden I burst into flames?
I'll be unable to stop drop and roll.
I will be so ashamed.

One day I might wake up,
And my legs are hanging off the bed.
I won't handle being tall to well,
Especially when the ceiling fan takes off my head.

I could be walking to the mailbox,
And get mauled by a bear in the street.
I don't like that idea much.
Can't he go somewhere else to eat?

I might be cooking supper,
And turn into a puddle of water.
My mom would put me in a bottle,
And not let anyone drink her daughter!

The sun might not come out in the morning,
Instead it will stay night.
Will everyone be in bed sleeping,
When they know it's just not right?

These thoughts are not so odd,
Compared to some things I could say.
I like the ideas I come up with,
When I let my mind play!
