Toy Reviews: Leapfrog Leapster learning system

So...my siblings received a Leapster from my parents about a year ago... this game keeps them totally occupied on otherwise boring occasions like road trips and airplane rides. I love the concept of the toy, a educational game-boy type look. It's a portable version of the LeapPad and in my mind... so much more compatible to the get up and go of kids these days. My three year old sister uses it and every time I babysit or am on the road with her, I simply pull out the Leapstar and jam in a cartridge. Instant Success! The games teach everything from ABC's and 123's to math, geography and history. Amazing! I do think however, that the games required for this game are a little pricey! The games can range from 15 to 20 dollars which is a little steep. It's worth it though, cause I'd much rather see them playing this, than sitting in front of a TV playing Playstation or Xbox, shooting down creatures or jamming opponents into walls!
