I think he can and I hope he will, but I don't think the front office will make the right moves to get the right players. Sac needs to get rid of a lot of their players. I like Miller, Shareef, and Thomas, but they need to go. We need a good, well sized, post player. Also Artest needs to go. I think Martin is going to just get better and better, Garcia is on his way up, Bibby is great, but what else do we have? I haven't seen our rookie but we need more then just him. I liked Price and we just lost him. We need to make some moves and pick up some players and until we do that, we aren't going to win a title, let alone get out of the first round of the playoffs.
It's not Theus' fault, but I don't think he's gonna get the pieces he needs to compete. I hope I'm wrong and the Maloofs start picking up some good pieces but I doubt it. Look what they've done this offseason, nothing at the moment. Send Artest away, send Miller away (as much as I like his hustle and heart), and send either Thomas or Shareef away.
