I was doing so well. I had kept to the guideline weight gains right up to the start of the last month when I reached my target weight and stopped weighing myself altogether! Goodness knows how much I weigh now, but what worries me more is how much my baby is going to weigh, and whether he'll be healthy.
I got scared towards the middle of my pregnancy because I stopped putting on weight for a whole month. I thought it might be dangerous for the baby, but I shouldn't have worried: he seems to go for growth spurts rather than good steady progress, so I suspect he will continue that way.
Some people tell me how 'neat' my bump is, some people ask me if I'm having twins, so I really don't know how big I've got! My measurements with the midwife have been fine though, so that's what I cling to.
Who knows if or whether I'll lose my 'baby weight', but as long as my husband is supportive, I'll cope.
