Inner Strength
I believe we all have an inner strength that we all call on, but usually only when it is really needed in our lives. We all go along with our daily lives, and when something happens that is so huge or debilitating, only then do we find the strength to go on.
As a single parent, I strive each day to do my best to become a role model for my children, so that they will know God gives each of us strengths to get through any problems that we may face. If we all remember that HE is always with us and that every trial and tribulation that we face in life, HE already knows we are going to go through this, it is up to us how we deal with it.
Living in today's world, all of face challenges that many of our parents and older generations did not have to face. Living your life in a Godly manner, is hard at best, and I truly believe that we can overcome anything if we only remember that God is with us every second of the day. God plants that inner strength seed in all of us the moment we are conceived, and it is developed by the things we go through in our lives. You have to decide if you are going to let God rule your life or if you are going to go through life on your own, and only ask God for help when all else fails. God doesn't want you to go through life without HIM. HE will lift you up and he will carry you through, when You feel like just giving up and giving in, that is when you must go forward, and rise to the challenge. HE gives us suffering and trials, so that we can become stronger. And if you allow HIM to be a part of your everyday, boring, dull life, HE will change your life for the better. HE will show you how strong you really are. But to have an inner strength, you must be willing to stand up for your beliefs and not give in to others, when you know that it would be wrong, but easier.
My faith is my inner strength. I call upon it every day, sometimes a thousand times a day to get me through my day. I struggle with my finances, I worry about my kids, and there are times I worry about having food to put on the table, but I also pray about my worries, I turn them over to God and I know HE will get us through. So, that is where my inner strength comes from. When I let go and let God, miracles abound every day. HE always provides. HE is a loving Father. He has changed my life and HE can change yours and make it so much better than you ever imagined, if only you let HIM in.
