"Happy Birthday to You, Happy Birthday to You, Happy Birthday to Carmen, Happy Birthday to You"

The 1st birthday ceremony of my daughter. Mummy (mother of Carmen) is working on that day, so I am the one who host her birthday ceremony. I ordered a 3kg "Eeyore" sharp cake. Carmen birthday was the 1st birthday of 2007 among our family members.
And also was the 1st birthday after the incident. My dad passed away on December 2006. Chinese people have their own rules after family member passed away, some of them stop celebrate any ceremony within the 100 days of the incident. This is to show their respect to the dead person. Unfortunately I didn't follow the rule, I did celebrate Chinese New Year and also my daughter birthday, because I know my dad ambition is to celebrate everyone birthday. This was his ambition so we follow.

I and my mother prepared a lot of foods for that night. I blew few balloons for Carmen, she like round sharp items such as ball and balloons. I bath her and dressed her up beautifully. I fetched my nephew and nieces over to my house to celebrate Carmen birthday. I want to make everyone get together. Because I know we are family members and we care to each other.

That night we had a good dinner and great night. After dinner, all the children get together to play games; you can feel the happiness from the children. And now is the time to sing song and cut cake. All the children squeeze to Carmen. 1-2-3 they start singing song, I start taking photo and Carmen start looking at the candle on top of the cake. Once the song finished sang, the candle was blown by the children that are the reason why they all squeeze near to Carmen.

After having the cake, I start cleaning up the space, start dressing up Carmen with sleeping clothes. Good night Carmen and happy birthday to you, from daddy and mummy.
