You grew up on a farm
With 'old school' values
And plenty of charm
Your love always given is true.
Your love has no boundaries.
In your heart there is space
For all to be found.
Your love is an unconditional place.
You are understanding and wise.
You forgive without haste
One of the things that make you so nice.
Your kindness and love you do not waste.
So here's to you Mom,
I love you as much as the others.
For we too grew up on a farm,
With values given to me, my sister and brothers.

Of kitten-soft mohair,

Cheerful smile and warm embrace
In my mind, I still see your face
Shining light and flowing grace
Day by day, I think
Where has God kept it?
Where did the creator hide it?
Key of love between mother and child
Who can find it?
She carried me inside

the depth of my love for you.
