Poetry: Ending a relationship

Broken Mirror(endless)
This alternating pain and happiness drives me deeper into madness...and I'm afraid to open my eyes and let go...afraid that I'll wake up once again and be alone... So into this broken mirror I gaze... hoping and wishing.. to eliminate my pain...

This endless rain that comes pouring down from the heavens and weighs down my soul...

This endless pain that torments me and blinds me..

I scream out, cry out.. alone in the middle of the street... as the rain soaks through my clothes .. seeping into my very soul... " I hate you.. I always Have!... because of you I can love no more!" So very alone.. so very cold... I only wish that I could see you once more.. if only to tell you "I hate you..."

This endless storm that tears apart my being.. it consumes my thoughts.. fills me with terror..

This endless Hatred that fights within me... writhing to break free...

I gaze into the broken Mirror... praying that my bleeding will ease my tears...

To give up on you was the ultimate sacrifice... to let go of you was the ultimate test...

and I'm gazing blind into a broken mirror.. so much like the shattered pieces of my heart and soul...I've passed the test.. but only to figure out.. that I'd rather DIE than be ALONE.

This endless sorrow tears at me.... ripping me apart...

This endless love consumes me... and I've given you the last of my heart...

you've left me broken, bleeding, dying... Tormented by the sight of an endless dark...

and the blood-soaked shards of a broken mirror... will forever haunt your Dreams...

I'll be waiting...the demoness within your worst nightmares...

    Gloating Too Soon

    I truly did believe
In a gloating sort of way
    That the man I left
    Would miss me
    When I finally went away.
