Tips for decorating your buffet table

Decorating your buffet table can make a simple spread look like an inviting banquet. Food which is complemented by an attractive background and decorations will look far more appealing than food which has been served without any attention to presentation. Decorating your buffet table does not need to take a lot of time or effort, but a few clever touches will impress your guests and an attractive display can lift the ambiance for a special occasion.

Colorful food looks fresh and inviting against white table linen. An arrangement of fresh fruit or flowers always looks appealing as a centerpiece and is equally complemented by white. Try tying your flowers or fruit basket with silk ribbon and using the same ribbon to tie bows around napkins or sets of cutlery. Floating candles in bowls of water sprinkled with rose petals can also look beautiful, especially in the evening, and will be complemented by a center bouquet of roses with greenery. For a really special touch a single rose can be laid against the placement for each guest.
