Most people have different opinions about the best vacation destinations because everyone has other desires for an agreeable holiday. The Empire State buildings, the Chrysler Building, the statue of Liberty are some of the "must see" buildings and statues if you are planning a city trip in New York. It is really amazing to have such architecture in one city of the world.

Every continent has wonderful cities which are worthwhile to visit. Bangkok in Thailand, Jakarta in Indonesia, Beijing in China, Melbourne in Australia, Cape Town in South Africa and many others are excellent ideas for most everyone. The place where you live can be important to make your choice because a city trip is often only for a few days and you may lose too much time with the time of your flight for a weekend vacation if you choose a destination too far from your hometown.
