St Patrick's Day: It's good to be Irish

St Patrick was the man who changed the face of Christianity in Ireland, he came from a wealthy home in Wales, towards the end of the fourth century still a young teenager Patrick was taken prisoner by a group of Irish raiders, they took him away across the Irish sea Where he spent the next six years in captivity working as an isolated and lonely shepherd. His faith was his only past time comfort and solace; young Patrick became a devout Christian. Where the inspiration of his revealing life-changing story began.

The Story Of St Patrick.

His love for the country grew to passionate citizenship, but After six years, Patrick heard God's voice telling him it was time to leave Ireland, so he made good his escaped from his captivity and headed back to Wales, where God again made his conscience cry out with the gospel hope for Ireland. And after fourteen years studying to be a priest, Patrick returned to Ireland where he built churches and began spreading the Christian faith for the next 30 years, and Ireland became his adopted country, His religious convictions blossomed enormously into a full time convocation, until his death on March 17, 460AD. His burial site is in Down Patrick, Cathedral, County Down, for tourist and travelers, the saint Patrick center in Down Patrick is a center dedicated to his memory. Which tells the fascinating story of Ireland's Patron Saint. Through Patrick's own words a light is shone on the arrival of Christianity in Ireland.
