Although vehemently refuted by the US Center for Disease Control (CDC), Autism is an epidemic-some reports state as high as one in six children. The CDC and strong lobby of the pharmaceutical companies would like to direct your attention away from the fact that every day more evidence suggests that the mercury derivatives and other chemical preservatives in vaccinations are linked to the rising cases of autism in this country.

Many children who are developing normally-or even above normally according to conventionally accepted benchmarks commonly used by pediatricians-like my nephew Kyle, (3 1/2 years old), lose their speech directly after their 18 month set of inoculations. In Kyle's case, it was as if a curtain came down and shrouded him overnight. The morning prior to his doctor's visit, he had been speaking single words as most 18 month old children would, was aware of his physical self, and interacted with others in a normal and affectionate manner. The day after his vaccinations, he would (or could not) speak, and acted like a completely different child. He was not the bright and affectionate toddler we had come to know anymore. He was distant, and withdrawn inside his own world. His progression towards eating regular food (as opposed to baby food) halted. He would only eat baby foods of certain textures, and refused anything with the consistency of normal food.

Vaccinations, different than a generation ago, are combined together and administered all at once. E.g., MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella). The shots are laced with alarming levels of mercury based preservatives, such as thimerosal which many children cannot eliminate from their system, which effectively halts normal development by poisoning them. Even vaccinations that claim to be "Thimerosal Free" still contain thimerosal-just a level that the FDA has deemed safer for those sensitive to the preservative. A short list of chemicals used as preservatives in vaccinations are phenol,(a disinfectant dye) benzethonium choride (a disinfectant), formaldehyde, aluminum, and ethylene glycol (commonly known as antifreeze). Would you allow your child to ingest anti-freeze in any amount?

On January 29, 2001, Jock Doubleday, the director of a California Non-Profit organization, offered $20,000 to the first licensed medical doctor or pharmaceutical CEO to publicly ingest a mixture of standard vaccine ingredients comparable to levels ingested by a child in a standard inoculation.
