TIME TO LEAVE
We've tried to make it work.
But try as we may, it gets worse.
The love that once was there is now tattered and frayed
It becomes increasingly hard to blend.
Now, it has inevitably come
It is time to leave.
Time to leave those fond memories
Time to leave those together dreams.
It's just plain time to leave.
Where are we leaving to?
To go down another path.
To explore the possibility that there are others
Who can fill the vacancy you are leaving.
And the vacancy I will leave in you.
No, it is not a happy thing
But a necessary one.
We cannot make our lives a together thing anymore.
Life is no longer fun.

That the man I left
Would miss me
When I finally went away.
