It's easy to get carried away, after all it's time for your children to return to school and you want them to look neat, clean and well groomed. Sometimes when we shop there are other things at play such as our subconscious mind. We want our children to look really great so that when other children or parents, the school administration look at them they say wow! Little Johnny or little Susie must really have great parents who care about them.
We may not actually think that, (sometimes we do), but after all we do care about what others say and think of us.
That's why it can be so easy to go overboard and buy more than enough for our children and even pay more than we should. It is a good idea to sit down before leaving the house and make a budget regarding how much you plan to spend. It takes a little planning of course. Next review some of the stores and the various sales that are taking place.
Make sure you have plenty of time and you are completely rested. This will keep you from speed shopping and buying something you would not otherwise purchase because of a lack of time or because you have become irritable due to being sleepy.
List three or four stores you may want to visit and do a little price comparison to make sure you get the best bargains possible. Don't always look at the best bargains you should also consider quality but since children grow so fast you don't want to buy the most expensive item. IF I had a see saw balancing low cost with quality, for children I would venture closer to the low cost side, again that does not mean you have to purchase the least expensive piece of merchandise available.
Balance these features with Wal-mart, Target, Old Navy, and one other store and see where you are going to receive the best bargain in terms of cost and quality.
