How to determine what kind of Internet connection you have

Okay how to determine what Internet connection you have. If you are on this site or any site from home you have a connection, but what kind. There are 5 connections DSL,broadband,dial-up,pci card, satellite, and mobile phone.
DSL-means you have a fast connection by a service provider who does not use cables. These connections are usuallly medium fast. They come from providers like Belllsouth(AT&T) and Eartlink.
Broadband-Is the fastest speed available to the general public. With this speed you do anything you do on dsl but a lot faster. This connection uses cables. You can also talk on the phone with this and dsl.
Dial up- Dial up is the slowest type of connection. With this connection you can surf the web slowly and download movies and music in hours time. With this connection you can not talk and surf. Plus it uses phone lines.
PCI- Is Broadband any where especially used in laptops.Has to have acard stuck in the pci/card slot.
Satellite- is internet by satellite mostly big wheels use this service 99.95 dollars a month!
mobile phone- This is connection used by your mobile phone browser on the phone screen or hooked up to your pc. This speed is very slow-low fast.
Hope this helps!
