How to overcome your fear of roller coasters

by CloudNight

Created on: August 04, 2007

A lot of people try to find the right words to get the utmost terrified of roller coasters to ride then. What these unconvincing souls do not realize is that a man with true roller coaster phobia will not listen to your pleas. What they need is a man who is more terrified then even them. Without experiencing this intense fear there would be no true encouragement or surety. It is lucky for those with that fear true in their heart that I experienced that fear.

A friend is required of you for this feat. It takes a special trusting friend to honestly persuade you to ride a roller coaster. It must be friend that respects you and has not a sarcastic bone in his body. Certain things must be required for the person of this position. First and foremost, they must be able to keep your attention off of the roller coaster. Long stares of the rollercoaster will immediately discourage you from getting on the roller coaster. Second, they can not have a expressive fear of roller coasters. Previous experience of the rollercoaster that you will ride is a plus.

A state of mind must be created before riding this monstrosity. It is a state that recognizes death as not an end but yet another beginning. It is a state of tranquility and calm. Stillness and balance must rule your entire body with each step closer to the speedy devil. When you are under the shadows of the monster, fear might bombard your fortress of grace, but with your wise friend and pre-established stubbornness you will get on that roller coaster.

One thing you must totally be sure of is that you're buckled into the rollercoaster. If you are not then let us hope that your readiness for death is legit. Seriously though, have your friend check you restraints to ensure your physical safety. As for your mental safety close your eyes. Closing your eyes will not only allow yourself some peace of mind from the roller coaster tracks ahead of you. It will also augment your shouts of displeasure by no a longer recognizing those around you.

Screaming is a very important part to surviving a roller coaster. You may watch and hear others do it. Others will tell you that this is an important secret to surviving the ride. This is an understatement. What they call a scream must be nothing less of a long and deafening screech, roar, or bellow. Whichever one takes your fancy. Screaming is for those with mild fear. A fear that those with a true phobia of roller coasters do not have the pleasure of having.

After the roller coaster has halted to a stop take a few seconds to get a hold of yourself before you stand up. After these seconds you should be done screaming and closing your eyes. Now would be a good time to free yourself from the contraption that binds you before it takes off yet again. Once outside the roller coaster allow your friend to guide you a few yards from the roller coaster for a vanquisher's final look of the beast.
