You physically cannot walk past the baby section in a department store without cooing over adorable infant pajamas and soft fuzzy blankets, dreaming of the day you will wrap your own baby in them and snuggle them close to breath them in.

From the moment the stick turns blue, you start to see your spouse as a parent and look forward to seeing the light in their eyes the first time they hold your child. You wonder which of you will be the disciplinarian and which will be the softie. You divvy up chores and swear you'll take turns changing dirty diapers, even the foul ones. You promise to talk about all the important parenting issues and make all your decisions together.

From the moment the stick turns blue, you can envision your future and never in you life has it looked brighter or more promising. You easily trade exotic romantic getaways for picnics in the park, watching the wide smile on your child's face as you push them on the swing.
