I close my eyes and feel consciousness slipping away
The colors and sounds fade
And I am left deaf and blind
Searching for something, anything at all
To awaken my senses and free me
From this dark and silent prison
My wish comes true, and I cannot breathe
I didn't want this,
This terrible pain
But I see it, I hear it,
And it will not go away
I open my eyes
I cannot move
I don't want to go back
But I always do
