The most frequent cause of divorce

People get married without ever realizing what marriage is all about. They live under the delusion that marriage is a happy go lucky gift that will bring you total joy and fulfillment no matter what, plus lots of extra curricular activity in bed...

Well the news flash is this, marriage is beautiful when made beautiful by two people.

The most frequent causes of divorce...

1. Communication: you can't just be willing to talk about the good stuff, you have to be able to talk about all the bad stuff, everything that hurts or comes between you. It is through this bond of communication that a couple are stitched together and find their niche together. You are not communicating to change the other person but to come to a better understanding of the other person and help them to better understand you, and in the end not one or the other to bend toward the others way but to compromise with an understanding of each other. Once an understanding is found, a compromise is sure to follow.

2. Abuse: you can not beat your wife/husband and expect them to remain madly in love with you and never leave you. Affection and passion are a must in a real marriage, you can not show either through flailing fists and bruises. You have to treasure each other as though it is your last moment with them before they pass away. You can not tighten the bond of marriage if you are too busy bruising it, divorce is sure to close in on you.

3. Absence: even in the face of presence this is a problem. If husband and wife both work when they come home there is still an absence. For as one is cleaning and doing the job that should have been taken care of before the work day was through, the other is doing whatever needs to be done on their part, or relaxing leaving all the house chores to be done by the other. So even when you are home together you are apart until the house is taken care of, and when that is done it is usually bed time. Which means you spent the entire day apart and now you will be sleeping. A quick fix for this is to work on the house hold chores together, in the same room, talking and communicating and being a part of each other, make dinner together, make mistakes together. Grow as a couple, every moment you get is precious, take advantage of it.

4. Cheating: come on, if you cheat then it is cause you are unhappy. Or perhaps you are not satisfied with your spouse anymore. You feel the only way you can be happy is if your spouse changes. Well this isn't going to happen and at the least it
