PUT IT TO WORK!
Mine is a very short story which I entitled:PUT IT TO WORK!
i never thought that i will not get a job immediately i finish my university program.i was so optimistic that nothing missing and nothing broken!that come what may,i will be working almost immediately. My result was not bad.You see,in my country, you have to serve the nation in a one year natioanal youth service program before you are finally allowed to work.I did what i was supposed to do and i finally got acceptance into the laour market. So,despited that i have served and i have upgraded myself while serving the nation for the one year prerequisite.it was not a funny experience at all.I was posted to serve in a very remote village where you are never sure of coming back home, once you go there. You see, geographically,it was in the Central Northern part of my country.i went there having no access to the internet or so.I could not really apply for job during those times.I came away from that service program a chartered manager despites it all;just because i hate sitting around lazily.I tried against all odds to put in my appplication for a Management course.I did at least that one professional exam during those periods, apart from another traininng concerning HIV/AIDS.During that one year,i was trainned as a certified Peer educator trainner on Hiv/AIDS under UNICEF.You see,i was this proacrative type, who never allow any opportunity to pass by.And i thought that by doing all that ,especially a professional exams in management;i would be improving my skills and marketability.I would become a very sought for employee.Anyway,i made myself more marketable but the story went in the other direction like an anticlimax in a war film!I was the hero who never dies.Is n't it funny?i thought all what i earned on merits were all it takes but i soon found out that it is more than that! You must know someone or more, who are very influential to get a job in the country.I was wrong again?!

This was how the story went:I finished the service year and came back with so much of dtermination into the city,i knew nobody influential than the almighty God.So,i joined the queue of job-seekers on the streets.I went from place to place dropping CV.i was invited for one or two Job tests.I was so frustrated at the way things were turning out.i could not believe what was happening to me.The events were so slow in unfolding. So i started out on my own,i tried to register a business of my own.It
