Satire: Culture

Being An American

A citizen of the United States of America is fortunate in the unlimited freedoms the nation provides, regardless of sex, race, or religion. Very seldom should one feel negatively about their homeland, although this problem does arise. Regardless, Americans live in a society where their voice (though limited) has the chance to be heard. Citizens can also cherish the democratically elected governance, which vow to represent the United States with constant grace, promising to lead the nation towards the future. The general populace can vanquish in a land full of opportunity, representing a truly free society.

The democracy of this nation stands as a shining beacon of hope, never-ending and uniquely indifferent. Democracy has proven to be effective in many nations around the world. Because of this, the government feels it is important to spread its wings, providing every nation the opportunity at living a respectable life. Thus, United States forces glided as angels in to the land previously known as Iraq, lightly powdering the fairy dust of bullets amongst its citizenry, hoping to reveal our true intentions: spreading the love.

People of the United States of America can wake up in the morning without fear of their own government. Unlike the other totalitarian forces, it is possible for an American to stride amongst the street without being threatened from the government. These glorious possibilities are gravely unique. Every American can project their voices in to representative entities, without having to worry about these men and woman throwing away current ethics in order to advance their own agenda. No, unlike many other nations, we do not have to worry about our government tapping phone conversations, as well as violating an individual's privacy by searching into ones phone and library records. This can be supported with the fact that government agencies do not hold innocent people without trial or reason.

Democracy is what truly shapes the United States of America, and its glorious past can continue to inspire the future. The democratic form of government is set up around the voices of millions of American citizens, allowing each individual to vote between one party or another. Yes, democracy is strong indeed, and many should be thankful that it is not under control by one person or political group. Hence, America may witness the rise of another Hitler or Stalin. Instead, two overpowering forces control it, which gives the citizenry two times the amount of freedom as the others get.

In conclusion, the United States of America is the greatest nation in the world. The beliefs of the Americans should be heeded without contest, since it is truly the leader in international affairs. The fifty states pose a difficult obstacle for those hideous terrorists who threaten the live of millions of innocent bystanders. Without contest, every citizen should appreciate the opportunities the United States provides to its citizens, as well as democracy-craving nations who continue to move closer to the light.
