Why can't people go the speed limit when you are in a hurry

"Why can't people go the speed limit when you are in a hurry?" You know it's true, but you don't know why-unless, of course you're familiar with the body's capacity to detect biofeedback. Basically, whenever a person is in a hurry their body demonstrates this fact by emitting unique scents and brainwaves that other persons can detect. In the same way that scary animal smells your fear before it attacks, the people driving ahead of you sense that you're in need and do their best to make your situation worse, if they're of a spiteful disposition.

Did I fool you for a second? Putting my feeble attempts at humor aside, the real answer is basically a matter of common sense.

Of course, the speed at which people drive in their cars is unrelated to whether or not you are in a hurry. However, you don't notice the people driving too slow when you aren't in a hurry. In other words, you generally don't care how fast anyone is driving if you aren't trying to get to your destination as fast as possible.

Have you ever heard that "Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong"? This is the old adage known as Murphy's Law. The relationship of this law to the issue of people driving to slow is fairly obvious. If you're in a hurry, one thing that can go wrong is to be slowed down by another driver. So now whenever you're asking yourself why everyone's going too slow, you'll know who to blame... Murphy! For making that infernal law!
