I must agree that old time religion is something I miss all to often when I visit some of the local churches.

After all the Word of God states I will remember the days of old. So what's so wrong with something that was so right?

Back in the day a shadow was all that was needed to heal folks. Do you remember that? And how about the day of Pentecost?

Or Paul who while in prison began to not only pray but praise God and what happened? That's right. Paul was set free.

Pray and Praise will set you free. Let's get back to that old time religion.

In the book of Palms 150 It states: "Let everything that hath breath praise ye the Lord."

Even the angels cry "Holy,holy,holy."

Praise and worship of the Lord go hand in hand and yet many feel that church is a quiet time. Give me that old time religion were the Holy Spirit moved and God was given the glory.

If it was good enough for the saints of old it's good enough for me.

Yes give me that old time religion.
