First off let me say that I am the story romance cowboy you all seem to want. I am masculine and know what I want you all. I think we must be real here. I am one of those "nice guys" so I don't seem to count but I think my opinion should be, coming from a man, taken with a grain of salt. Being fifty one, I have been around the block, and this is not saying that I have figured out women yet because I would be deemed insane if I state this as fact, but I will give my take. Now, having beaten about the bush long enough, so here it is.

Women are all different. Some women want nice and some want bad, the cowboy, the macho man. We can't pigeon hole any one group or gender because this would be just stupid. The women that say they want the cowboy love the firm hand, a good time and a full life. The others want the same things only with the gentle hand at work. I personally thing the cowboy is for the short termer, one night stands because I can't see the cowboy staying in one place long enough. I would suggest finding the nice guy that knows how to roll play. I can be the gentle hand on any given night but the firm master on another. Showing a woman a great time is easy for me and letting her know where she stands is also just as easy. Lets see what a date with the so called non cowboy would be like, shall we?

He picks you up right on time and you head out in his nice but economical car. He takes you to a nice place to eat but nothing special. You enjoy the burger then head for the movies. The show was great and you talked about it for almost three minutes then hit a romantic bar. You share some cleaver banter then he takes you home because he doesn't want you t feel as if he is an animal on this, the first date. He smiles and gives you a tiny kiss and says he will call but he won't.

Now lets see what the date with this cowboy is like. You know he is coming to pick you up at seven and you rush to be ready on time. He pulls up around eight and honks while he waits for you to exit the house. He does get out and open the door for you but that is a given. He knows some things a woman likes but it is not a natural thing for him. He drives you right to the bar, a hangout where he can show you off to his buddies. He seems not to care about you but you don't mind because you know the night will indeed get better. He takes your arm and you leave. He takes you to the steak house but you have the salad bar because he never thought to ask if you ate meat and you don't. Diner is finished and you now go to his favorite place to park, I mean talk, um park and talk for a while because he knows women love that even if he has nothing really substantial to say. His sleeves on his blue shirt are rolled up showing off his guns and by now you have felt them. He leans in for a kiss and you kiss him back. Three hours later he is driving you home and he kisses you good night. He says he will call but he doesn't.

I think too many people men or women, seem to think the grass is greener but if you stop to water once in a while you might find the cowboy is right there in front of you.
