Should you buy a property that has mold?

Absolutely not, you may be buying a lot more than just a home. Molds have been used in experimental labs for the development of Biochemical weapons, mold spores carry biotoxins that can go airborne, some even more so than anthrax.

While the medical community, the CDC, and the insurance companies are all playing off mold illnesses and Sick Building Syndrome as imaginary or nothing more than allergy or respiratory issues, they are not backing this with real science. There are researchers and a handful of doctors across the country and around the world who realize at least some of the potential of molds, and the list is long and scary. People working in known mold infested buildings have suffered higher rates of cancer, diagnosis of MS, Fibromyalgia, and more. In the case of smoking they would tie this to smoking causing cancer, but in the case of mold they say, you can't prove the mold did it.

All the reports you hear from doctors, the CDC, the insurance companies and the news, are not backed by scientific process, they simply say, it only effects those with breathing problems, allergies, etc. They may even name off a few molds as being harmless, but the facts are, no real research has been done by any of the above mentioned groups to determine exactly what damage may be done by exposure to molds, even the safe ones. However this is beginning to change, but the process is long and tests are done in controlled environments and observation is for specific functions of cells and other tracers of potential mold damage. It could take many years to discover what that non toxic mold has done to your body, and by then it is too late.

Aspergillus is rarely mentioned, you hear about Stachybotris, Fumigatis, and others, but rarely do people mention Aspergillus, yet Aspergillus is KNOWN to be a deadly mold to the human body. Hospitals have learned this from organ transplant, bone marrow transplants, and Leukemia patients, that Aspergillosis is an infection that is not only hard to detect but it is hard to treat also. Usually by the time Aspergillosis is detected it is far enough along that 66% of those found with the infection, die from it. What is also not known about mold is what happens to the body in an environment where cross contamination occurs. Many of the mycotoxins have a different effect when combined with other mycotoxins. In the Pharmaceutical industry they call this drug interaction in the case of mold, you might call this poison interaction.

Until the CDC and
