The Great Pyramid

The Great Pyramid of Giza exerts an explainable fascination for humankind. Not only for the fact that it seems to be the oldest architectonic monument in existence, but also for its geometry. So many numerical conjectures have been discovered, and so many meanings have been attached to them, that it seems futile to even try to produce anything along those lines, unless one wants just to make noise. We advance here the physical reasons of existence of this otherwise apparently unnecessary object: it provides the physical reference frame necessary for optimal harnessing of the cosmic energy embodied in the material filling the Space. As this idea has already been advanced many times, it is perhaps not new. The novelty might be its correlation with the pyramid, leading to a certain age of this object, concurrent with estimates already advanced by some. From this point of view the Great Pyramid seems to have witnessed multiple ages before us, and seems to have lost its initial qualities due to inherent evolution of the Matter in the Universe.

It is with great delight that we discovered in the WWW the existence of a new interpretation of the texts of the pyramids by Clesson H. Harvey (see www.pyramidtexts.com), whereby these texts seem to be reconsidered as a kind of "user manual" and not merely religious incantation texts as they are usually accepted. This is really a great progress, inasmuch as we are accustomed to the idea, entertained by the academic circles, that, as far as archaeological remains indicate, the old social organizations of this planet were essentially religious. But our main point here is that Harvey even evaluates the age of pyramids, based on some physical principles: creep-like deformation of the matter under dead weight. Harvey has the advantage of his translations of old texts, where he finds strong favorable arguments. We confess though, that it is not quite so clear for us whether Harvey uses the scientific argument to validate his interpretation of the texts or, vice versa, he uses the interpretation of the text to validate the scientific result. The truth of the matter is that such a dating is not seriously taken into consideration by academic circles, in spite of the crude reality that the "hard facts" used for "scientific dating" are so soft, that they can lead anywhere! Harvey himself seems to take the dating by slow deformation only as a side argument, his hard point being the configuration of the skies as indicated
