Did God design for life to be easy or challenging

by Judy Waller

Created on: July 31, 2007

I truly believe God originally designed our life to be easy and pleasant. However, Adam and Eve didn't allow it to continue that way. Through their disobedience they allowed sin to enter into the picture and now we all suffer the affects of that sin.

Then our loving Creator made a way for mankind to help themselves. God out of his love for us all sent his son to die so that we can once again enjoy perfect life in the future and life even now which though would require our obedience and efforts. You see God gave us a book, called the Bible, teaching us all how to benefit ourselves, if we would only read it and make adjustments so as to benefit from God's guidance. Humans though being stubborn, some have choosen to ignore their maker's warnings. They have chose to guide themselves. What has happened? We end up with the blind leading the blind. By that I mean the spiritually blind try leading the spiritually blind. Yes, even some who claim to be religious leaders and followers of God, yet they prove themselves a liar by their actions.

God didn't cause mankind's problems. Mankind themselves who are alienated from God have produced suffering and the many challenges that we all face. If we only listen to God and what he tells us 0ur life would be free from hatred, crime, greed, selfishness, and wars. Man causes these problems.

God though still wants what is easy and good for us. He plans to bring this about real soon. Yes, a time of peace and ease and joy. You see we are living in what the Bible calls the last days. God has set up a kingdom or government in the heavens and it will soon takes its rule here on earth. We pray for this kingdom when we say the Lord's Prayer found at Matthew 6:9-10. "9 "YOU must pray, then, this way: "Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified. 10 Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth.. . ."

This Kingdom or government will take the consequences of Adam and Eves sin away forever. No more sickness, death.
Rev 21:3-4; "3 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: "Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

(Isaiah 33:24) And no resident will say: "I am sick." The people that are dwelling in [the land] will be those pardoned for
