Who I Am
I am not who you think I am,
said the man beside the wrought iron
gate. To you I am a ghost,
but others see me as a pearl.
Blinding iridescent colors of silver
and blue lay waste to everything
that once was dark.
I am someone unseen
until it is too late.
You will ask me if I'm all there is,
and I will say that I'm all there was
and will be again.
I am a contradiction.
You don't understand what you
can't see, feel, touch. But,
I am. I am.

Why The Cross?
God turned and faced his only son,
pointed at creation and said "what have I done"?

Jesus at Gethsemane
Father, would you hide me
in the thistle and thorn
in the hole of the worm
in stalks of the corn
Take
They crown Him with thorns,
He did not complain,
They divide His robe,
He did not say anything,
They beat Him with rod,
Some believe in a force, or a spirit, or a man
I believe in a concept, a mindset, a plan
Jesus did exist so long ago
by Debbie Luyo
Out walking last night
I realized
I wasn't alone
When I saw the hem
Of his white robe
The dogs didn't notice
Too busy sniffing
