Marriot Curacao is probably the best hotel in that beautiful dutch island. No, it is not a beer commercial, it is simply just the truth.

Conveniently situated at 10 minutes by car from the airport and another 10 minutes from Willemstad, the island capital, Marriot Curacao is a gorgeous hotel, in a pale pink, colonial style building. It's private beach with white sand is the perfect spot to enjoy the Caribbean sun and to take a swim in the blue water of the Atlantic Ocean.

The hotel also features a swimming pool, right near the beach, with sun-lounges all around it. A pool bar is also there, so you can have a relaxing cocktail or a refreshing Amstell Bright, the beer made after an old Caribbean recipe.

The rooms are big, decorated in yellow, blue and green, colors that set you already in the mood for another great day on a great island. 3 types of rooms available: beach front (the best ones), ocean view and garden view.

Every morning, hanged by your door knob: the daily activities. Among them: yoga classes, water aerobic, iguana feeding (lots of lots of big, impressive, cute iguanas on the hotel grounds) etc Every evening it is another buffet, traditional foods, Mexican barbecue, all are extremely tasting and very relaxing.

And if we speak about food, you should know that the hotel offers its guest different spots to enjoy lunch or dinner. Portofino is the a la carte restaurant, where you also eat the breakfast. Then it comes Seabreeze, a lovely restaurant by the beach.
In the hotel lobby, a combination of lounge bar and snack restaurant it is also available to you.
You can also buy delicious snacks, pizzas, sandwiches and cakes from Voila, a delicatessen place in the lobby.

Another feature of the hotel: the Emerald Casino, for a nice night of gambling and having fun. A hair salon and two shops are also in the lobby for the hotel guests.

The beach is long, with lots of "palapas" (big, sun umbrellas). A beach bar is also there so you can have ice creams and cocktails right on the beach.
