"According to Jim" This ABC family sitcom premiered, October 3, 2001 and this family it will enter in to its seventh season.

Jim, (played by James Belushi) plays the typical "man of the house" role. Jim and Andy,(Larry Joe Campbell) the multi-rolled guy who is Jim's brother-n-law, business partner and best friend, own a construction together.

At the end of each work day Jim, enters the house and plops in to his recliner, seeming waiting for his wife to hand deliver him a "cold one." At times his behavior is childish, he's great at pointing the finger of any wrong doings at everyone else in his family. While trying to figure out how to get out of his newest predicament.

Cheryl, (Courtney-Throne Smith)plays the role of his ever loving and patient wife. All the while counting how many children she "really" has, although she only remembers giving birth to three, Jim other acts like the fourth.

All in all Jim and Cheryl portray an average American married couple with children.

Their three children Ruby, (Taylor Atelian), Gracie (Billie Bruno) and Kyle(Conor Rayburn) spend most of their time trying to figure out their father's split personality of a father figure or a big friend that hands out punishments. Of course their day wouldn't be complete if they were not trying to trick their free spirited and naive Aunt Dana (Kimberly Williams-Paisley)in to doing something they're not allowed to do.

Over all it's a decent family show. Not much different than most of the others on the air.
