It is truly possible to not only live in a negative world, But to stay positive 90 percent of the times. A lot of our negatives, and positives are by our own making.
There are two ways to get up in the morning, so I'm told by a friend. "Humbly grateful," or "grumbly hateful." Which way do you start your day? Personally, I thoroughly enjoy being around "humbly grateful" people. It gets my day off to a good start as well.
I heard a Minister say a couple of weeks ago, that some people get up and say "Good morning Lord", These are the bright and cheery kind. the others say, "Good lord, it's morning" These are the dismal and weary kind. Sure a big difference. Which one are you?
All kidding aside, when you're around a lot of negative people, don't you get depressed? I do, and I don't like feeling that way. I see no point in it. I'm not going to let someone ruin my day because they choose to be miserable. Being cheerful makes your heart feel good.
Every human being has problem's, either financial, marital, just every day life, because some choose to be miserable. Sometimes I think, that with a lot of people, that's just their way of life. They don't know anything else, and that's sad. What a waste.
How different their life would be if they could learn to look for happiness. And they have to look for it, because it isn't going to come looking for them.
Negative people usually attract negatives. They usually have a lot in common, which is sad, because one negative person will not bring the other one up. They will remain on the downhill slope. They can't seem to find a happy medium to hold onto.
I have a lot of medical problems, Two diagnosis which could kill me, and now a blood disorder. But I'm not going to let it get to me, because God isn't going to let anything happen to me that isn't in His divine plan.
I have a peace in my soul, that tells me that everything is going to be alright, either way. Why sit around and worry about something that will probably never happen? I don't want to live my life that way. My daughter told me something she had heard somewhere, "Either get busy living, or get busy dying."
I love kidding around with friends, and a few people I don't really know, but when they kid back, it's worth a million. If I could help to cheer up one person a day, then my life would not be in vain.
I just can't understand how someone can let their life get so down, that they choose not to get up. That's like giving up. You only have one life, and if you don't live it to the fullest, it will be over before you even realize it.
You need to learn to be a duck, that's what my doctor told me. Let it all roll off of your back, especially when you can't do anything about it. Try to think happy thoughts, and don't dwell on the bad things of the past. The past is dead, and gone.
A lot of people have ask me to pray for them, and I do. I've needed prayer a lot of times in my life, and others have been there to pray for me. Just try one morning getting up and saying,"Good morning Lord". See how your day goes.
