Yes there are differences in intelligence between races, but not in the way you may have been led to believe. Surely statistics will point out differences in test scores, such as Asians scoring higher in mathematics than Caucasians. Hispanics scoring lower on English literature standardized exams. But what we have to realize is we are all one race, our color doesn't determine our intelligence, it is not our annual household income. What does determine our intelligence is our cultural values, the values set down by our parents, most importantly what our culture determines to be intelligence.
In the United States, the government would have you believe that standardized test are what determine our intelligence, IQ tests, basic skills tests, tests to see whether or not you can graduate high school. But if you are of a different culture that was not born and raised to believe these things to be the most important thing how can it ever mark your intelligence?
Take for example statistics of Hispanics statistically scoring lower on standardized English literature tests. Well, duh. their families have migrated from a different country in which English was not the native language of course they will score lower on an English literature test. And even though that is statistically true can you measure the amount of intelligence Hispanics have for family values. More often than not I have found That Hispanic, and Black families have a much more structured concept of family values. They are more devout religiously and far more devoted to providing for their families.
On the other hand many white/ Caucasian families put value on their children going to college instead of having a good family structure or environment. So yes, I believe there are differences in intelligences between races, but not in a way that standardized testing is the measure for my declaration.
