Making the commitment to marry someone till death due you part is a major decision. The reason behind that it isn't for everyone is for one many don't believe in the sanctity of marriage. You have to look at how your parents and others in the family treat marriage. Is it for better or worse or is it for convenience, such as financial gain or not wanting to be alone. Marriage is for certain ones who really believe in marriage and wanting and needing someone in their lives. It is a huge responsibility and it shouldn't be taken lightly. It's is scary to be independent for a long period of time doing things your way then you give a part of yourself to that person who will be helping you make decisions in yours and their lives. I am one of those people who feel that marriage isn't for me, due to past relationships and not wanting to give a part of myself anymore to someone who takes it for granted.
