Alternative cancer treatments must yield positive results to qualify as an alternative. When I refer to an alternative, I mean that this treatment has prolonged life, restored health, or has promoted the quality of life a cancer patient is living.

I have several friends who have had cancer, and have talked to people who have had the disease. Two of them had operations to remove tumors, and one of the two was radiated to the extent that she almost died. Both of my friends sought for alternative treatments of their disease.

The friend who received the operation and the radiation treatment was asked by the doctor to return for another one. She refused, and is still living a good life. This is what she did. Immediately she decided to alter her eating habits and diet. She began extensive research on her own looking up fruits, vegetables, and foods that would provide the medicine to her body for the cancer and the other ailments (high blood pressure and diabetes) with which she was diagnosed. She does not use herbs or vitamins, but food. She eats of variety of fruits and vegetable, grains and legumes. She uses garlic, onion, and various mild seasonings in her food. So far, this has been six years ago. The place in her stomach where the

nurse left the radiated pack inside of her beyond the required time still gives her some problems, but she is alive, and has a good quality of life.

The other friend had cancer of the colon. That was over 25 years ago, and she is now 79 years old and still able to navigate and do for herself. After having her colon operated on, (the tumor was removed and part of her colon was shortened), she
refused to return to go under the doctor's knife again. Instead she began drinking various herbal teas each day, and stuck to a healthy diet including plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. She is now on a more raw diet and juices her vegetables.
Her daughter sends her Noni, and she drinks purified water. She looks good and feels good most of the time.

In my travels I once ran across a German doctor. A friend of mine suffered from lupus. Lupus is a form of cancer. She was pronounced 1/4 dead, and a friend referred her to this doctor. He told her that he did not advertise, but all of his patients improved within a few months of coming to him. He told her to eat a variety of raw greens chopped up. No cooking was to be done to the greens. He also told her to purchase Vitamin A, the B's, Vitamin
