People sing song when they are happy. We always see in Tamil shows or movies, the Indians will sing songs when they are happy or when there is celebrations. That goes for the ancient Chinese shows as well. In our daily life, sometimes we even hum a song, sing a song or two while we are doing work and even during bathing. As for me, I do not have any song at all all these years. I will sing a song, hum a song whenever I hear them.
Just a few weeks ago, when I saw this topic, I never wrote on it because I do not have a song in my heart. However, on 25th July 2007, I discovered a song, a song which I had never knew before. You can refer to my post at Peaceinspiration.com, one of my blog - The title of the post is Touched by God's Power: http://www.peaceinspiration.co m/2007/07/25/touched-by-gods-p ower/.
To me, the song is of great significance to me. I am indeed very touched. How can there be so much coincidence in my life? All this must be the 'magical' power of God. On 25th July 2007, a day where I was down and gloomy, God had 'sent' me this song, Chiquitita. Chiquitita is the song in my heart now. It is a very meaningful song. My ex-boyfriend had dedicated a song, The Most Beautiful Girl In The World to me before. That is a meaningful song to me. However, it was never a song in my heart. It would be a nice memory perhaps. But Chiquitita is different. It is a song, a message and a means of communication of God to me. The song lyrics were all so relevant. It begins with "Chiquitita, you're enchained by your own sorrow. In your eyes, there is no hope for tomorrow, How I hate to see you like this? There is no way you can deny it. I can see that you're oh so sad, so quiet. Tell me what's wrong...."
Chiquitita means little girl. I regard this song as what God is trying to tell me his message. Indeed they were. God is helping me. I was relieved and was 'awakened' at that point, when I attempted to find the song at YouTube. I was filled with awe when I see those lyrics for the first time. It is definitely a song in my heart now, Chiquitita, for it is my song of encouragement, a song for me a "try again once more... like I did before" just like what the lyrics in Chiquitita had said - "Chiquitita, you and I know; how the heartaches come and they go and the scars they're leavin'; you'll be dancin' once again and the pain will end; you will have no time for grievin', Chiquitita you and I cry; but the sun is still in the sky and shining above you. Let me hear you sing once more, like you did before; sing a new song Chiquitita try once more like you did before ..."
Chiquitita is definitely a song in my heart. Through Chiquitita, I had known that God is always there for me. I can always rely on him. Whenever I am down, I would be reminded of this song, which God is telling me I can tell him about my sorrows. I should pray to God and have faith in God.
