The sun shines through her tinted glasses
She's unaware of who she passes
She's going home
She walks alone
She's keeping up a steady pace
Her mind is in another place
She'd turn around
But she knows she can't
Her world is like a photograph
She's trapped within the frame
If she escaped would they all stay the same?
It's autumn in her eyes
In the midst of this December
She thinks back to a time
But she really can't remember
Before the mess and headaches
Before the shells that she breaks
On her way to face the world each day
Now home is not too far away
And once she's there, she'll suffocate
She cannot breathe
She cannot sleep
He alone keeps her alive
But she's cut off and she's deprived
She misses him
More than she can stand
Her world is like a photograph
She's trapped within the frame
Would it make a difference if she just walked away?
It's autumn in her eyes
In the midst of this December
She thinks back to a time
But she really can't remember
Before the mess and headaches
Before the shells that she breaks
On her way to face the world each day
Time moves to her disadvantage
Everyday she tries to manage
She gets by
And yet she cries
The words are there but her hopes still fall
That is until she gets his call
Her doubts are gone
She writes this song
It's autumn in her eyes
In the midst of this December
She thinks back to a time
But she really can't remember
Before the mess and headaches
Before the shells that she breaks
On her way to face the world each day
It's winter to the world
And she's just left September
Where did November go?
He's helping her remember
Before the mess and heartache
She's forgetting all her mistakes
Now it's not as hard to face the world each day

The Absence of Emotions.
I walked into the forest -

When you need me I am not there anymore
You must think I don’t care anymore
I am sorry I walked away like this
I thought
Oh, it came as a surprise
That you didn't see
The hurt within my eyes
And deep inside of me
And well, I know that
Truth Be Told

Sometimes it's all the same
Either way you look at it
Isn't it better then any kind of
