All Of Us comes to television backed by some Hollywood heavy weights with clout: Will Smith and his wife Jada as producers. However, it has gone through some turmoil and the only end to that seems like it will only be accomplished with the end of the series.

All Of Us enters the sitcom family comedy arena attempting at least some difference in premise. The show centers around Robert James, an entertainment reporter played by actor Duane Martin. Robert finds himself in an odd living arrangement when his ex wife's apartment burns down and she needs a place to stay. He must live now with his ex, their son, and his new infatuation of love a kindergarten teacher named Tia Jewel.

The show first fell into trouble when the original network it was airing on, UPN, merged with another network to form the new station: The CW. However, with help from its producers the show managed to get a time slot and avoid the initial ruling of cancellation. On the new network the show became the fifth most watched sitcom via the ratings; fifth place doesn't usually cut it for most television executives.

The acting and writing of the show is decent and warm enough for the genre, though the original sort of premise did not take long to give way to the regular old plot lines and sitcom formula seen a million times already. Behind the scenes however the actors were kept even less happy than the viewers due to issues and large differences in payment. Some say that when Tia's character was written out, one of the main roles and draws to the show, it was the final nail in the coffin.

The CW officially canceled All of Us in May, with the show having lasted 4 seasons; 88 episodes. Some claim that Jada and Will may fight for the show and once again overrule the cancellation order, however sometimes big Hollywood just needs to stay in Hollywood. The fate of the show has been sealed.
