When one hears the word Nudist, we instantly think of people who refuse to keep their clothes on. Nudists are those people who love being naked that you see in those nudist colonies and most of them are scary to look at in the buff. The only good nudists are healthy Nudists because they do not have any flab, wrinkles or both on their bodies. Yet, I take this time to point out that not only are they brave for what they are doing in being naked, but also foolish for doing so. While these people are lucky that the police haven't decided to give every nudist a trip downtown to the jail house, I should point out why I consider these people to be the Bravest People of All.
For someone to walk in the presence of other naked is a sure fire way to get some odd looks. Yet, Nudists seem to have no problem with this. While we average people would not even dare to be nude to our closest friends or relatives, nudists have no trouble with being nude with each other. To a nudist, nude is another state of being dressed, even if there is no clothing to cover the body. Also, while we average people wear clothes to hide our imperfections, the nudists have theirs for all to see and not one of them has any problem who looks or stares. Nudists also have the advantages in deciding what to wear and what not to wear. While we textiles usually have a problem figuring out what to where, nudists simply pick something out and wear it without any problems because they do not have to be preoccupied with what to wear, they're naked most of the time and from what I read about Nudists, they rather be naked anyway.
Yet, then again, Nudists might be the biggest fools out in the world. For someone to walk around without any pants on is only asking for trouble. Public Nudity is a crime and nobody, not even the judge is going to believe you were naked because you wanted to be liberated. Clothes make the man, as they say and Nudists have not clothes so where do they stand in society? How are we to know what they are or who they are? Clothes make both class and occupation distinction very easy to determine, even if clothes do lie from time to time. For instance, a homeless looking person might be a wealthy individual and the sharp dresser might be struggling to pay his bills. Also, clothes protect us from cold weather and prevent us from coming down with diseases or any other illnesses in this world. Sure, the nudists say that being naked in summer, but do not come crying to me when your naked body is red with sunburn and it hurts to move because you're all burnt up.
I admit this essay was filled with contradictions, but as they say, there are two sides to every story. Like the nudists, everything has both its pros and cons. We live in a world where everything has a different point of few.
As for Textiles such as myself, a Nudist might argue that clothes are restricting and then again say something contradicting that statement by saying clothes are vital to people because they offer protection from certain elements, like the weather, radioactive or poisonous elements, and even harm. Certain Nudists might also argue that clothes are very fun to look at because of the different variants that clothes might appear on Textiles like me. Whatever the case maybe, regardless, of how foolish Nudists might appear to be, one must give them credit for being brave enough to bare their naked bodies to the elements and not worry about what an uninformed textile might say or believe.
