In the first place, Batman and Superman, as we know them, would never be in a fight. They are both the good guys' and would be fighting with one another against a common enemy. If, for some unknown reason, Batman and Superman had to fight one another, I have to vote for Batman as the winner.

Superman: man of steel, able to leap tall buildings, and so on and so on, would be a formidable foe for anyone. However, despite his super powers, Superman does have one major flaw: he can be killed with kryptonite. When confronted with this substance, the ultimate illegal alien becomes weak as a new-born kitten and just as vulnerable. His Achilles heel, kryptonite will even the playing field for Batman, and maybe even give him an advantage.

Batman may not have super powers, but he does have that wonderful Mary Poppins bag' utility belt. Whatever his need, it seems he can find it in his belt. It is my guess that were he to fight Superman, he would be able to reach into his belt and pull out a chunk of kryptonite. Then he would be able to wrap Superman up with his rope and destroy him. Of course if he puts away his kryptonite, Superman can break those bonds and bounce right back. Batman is not as stupid as some of the other of Superman's foes. He would finish the job to insure that Superman could never be a threat to him again. Game over: Batman wins.

As I said, this goes against the character of both men, so it's a moot point, but since they are not real characters, I suppose we can play around a little with what ifs'. In my what if' world, Batman is the ultimate fighter and the ultimate winner. Go Batman!
