I watch Entertainment tonight faithfully every night and the tedium of seeing poor Tammy Fay down to 65 pound, then 62 pounds, etc.was just too hard to bear. What some shows will do for ratings is beyond me. Plus that "God awful" makeup that must have weighed 5 pounds in itself. Then when you think it was safe to watch TV again, Larry King surpasses all common decency by showing us a woman struggling for every breath, every word to utter her dying phrases on TV...not to mention enough "paint" on her emaciated face to cover the Sistine chapel. Why can't we remember her when she was in still some reasonable healthy state. I for one was appalled and horrified and secretly wished she could pass away with some shred of dignity and honor. I just don't believe this is way people should be portrayed on TV.We have hit a new low.
