Did you ever watch a show about family relationships that is so wrong it's hilariously right? Two and Half Men is that show. The show touches on the dynamics of sibling relationships, parental relationships, odd friendships and relationships after divorce.
First you have the brothers who couldn't be more different if they tried and believe me they do. Charlie is a wealthy womanizing bachelor who was living the good life in his beach house, until his brother Alan divorced and needed a place to stay. Alan is an uptight, cheap, hypochondriac who's quick witted and lazy son Jake frequently stays with them. Top it off with a tough no nonsense, rough around the edges housekeeper named Berta, a crazy yet brilliant Charlie obsessed neighbor named Rose and their self absorbed emotionally vacant mother Evelyn and you have all you need for the perfect comedy.
Watch while Charlie tries to maintain his bachelor lifestyle despite his current domestic situation. Alan attempts to raise his son and dig out from the current rubble that is life. Plus, don't forget you have Rose stalking Charlie, Jake observing and soaking it all in and Evelyn interfering at every turn. Two and Half Men is absolutely hilarious. It touches on the concept that although we may not all be the same, we can unite and be there for one another as a family even if it is in a round about off the wall way!
