ABSOLUTELY NOT
The average American has been degraded to the point that they can barely make ends meet; or pay the bills on time. Why should the Taxpayers have to pay out money they cannot afford to set up a bunch of Politicians , that wouldn't do any more than they have to, for the average, working citizen? The last I heard, President Lincoln freed the slaves...meaning all of us, but it seems slavery has just taken on another face..to protect the guilty.
If someone was truly interested in doing something for the American public, they would take a sensible working wage, like the rest of us, and do the job right. We all know that is not the way it works. We are being used!
If the Politicians want the job, they can pay their own way, and recieve a fair wage in return, like the rest of us. If, for some reason they can't make ends meet, then they will know how we feel.
How many Politicians ever have to resort to living on Social Security? They can play with it all they want, and short change the guy on the bottom, but they will never have to live with the mess they create.
