Where is WWE wrestling heading?

As of right now? WWE is just evolving and progressing from a downward spiral, even if it is in only a small way to start off. Hey, everything has to start somewhere right? World Wrestling Entertainment has suffered massive blows over the past few years, when they bought World Championship Wrestling, the WCW fans lost interest until the Alliance Angle, but after the alliance Angle failed drastically, the WCW fans once again lost interest. Most of those fans are now with TNA Wrestling, but right now, TNA aren't even a half a competitor, even though I Myself am a HUGE fan of TNA Wrestling, but that doesn't acknowledge and represent the other 100 Million plus wrestling fans on the planet, does it?

With the recent losses of the likes of Curt Hennig, Road Warrior Hawk, Eddie Guerrero and most recently and tragically, Chris Benoit, WWE is lacking major main events and money drawers, meaning they are being forced to push their lower ranked Wrestlers into television time, and their development deal workers into the main roster before they are even ready to wrestle for the main brands. This also makes the likes of The Great Khali eligible for the World Heavyweight Championship, but can we really blame the WWE for this? Of course we can, it IS their fault. The likes of Chavo Guerrero, Mr. Kennedy, and even the guys they are using in the lower cards such as Chuck Palumbo are potential main event material, but instead they use them constantly as jobbers for the likes of Thew Great Khali and John Cena. So it technically is their fault they are in a mess right now.

I can see WWE pulling through this, because they always do. The thing they need to drastically improve on is the way they utilize their talents, they need to push the younger more talented stars over the big wannabes such as The Great Khali. I respect Khali as a person, but as a wrestler, his talent is non existent, and he lives solely off of image. That is not how to put on a successful Wrestling show, and it has been tried, tested and FAILED numerous and countless times over the past few years.

WWE needs a war to be encouraged to put on a great show, we can only hope that total nonstop action wrestling rise to spike TV's prime time Monday night slot in the next few years, or we are going to be forced to continue watching this lacking wrestling product for a long time to come.
