ANYONE who subjects a dog to violent fighting simply for personal gain and profit is a total and PURE criminal, no matter what they have done in the past and no matter what they claim they will do to stop it in the future. If they have bought pit-bull terriers specifically with the thought in their mind to fight with them, and then train them up FOR Dog Fighting, then simply he should be labeled a criminal for LIFE, and should be subjected to a prison sentence, a fine and a ban from owning ANY animals and ANY pets again in his life.
If you were selling a pit-bull terrier puppy in the local newspaper, fresh from a happy mothers litter, you expect them to be going to a good home, you expect them to be raised as a family pet, even though they are now banned over here and labeled as dangerous on the dangerous dogs list due to their notorious reputation, but really, do you think it's because of their OWN personal feelings and reputation that they have been landed on this list? Yeah right. It is simply because of the way humans abuse them, mistreat them, and RAISE them simply for their own personal gain and their own personal profitable methods.
If your mother pit-bull has puppies with an ex fighting pit-bull, the baby pit-bulls are going to have some fighting blood in their body, meaning there is a good chance that they will either be raised specifically for fighting, or will be physically and mentally dangerous and unstable around a family household, especially one with young children or other pets and animals in the same house or around their neighbor's. If BOTH parents are fighting dogs, or ex fighting dogs, this makes it even more dangerous and risky not only to the public and yourself, but to the puppies themselves, they will have ONLY fighting blood in their bodies, and it is very hard to eliminate the aggressiveness in a dog's temperament when it has been bred into them in this manner.
This makes almost all pit-bull terriers you can purchase nowadays somewhat aggressive, as almost all of them have been bred from either an ex fighting dog, or a dog which has fighting in it's ancestry and family history, simply because of human greed, cruelty and the way they abuse them simply for their own sadistic fun and profit.
He doesn't deserve anything less than what he subjected the dogs too, and that goes for EVERYONE who forces their canine companions into Dog Fights.
