"How wonderful 'twould be to know,
that you could know my heart,
For then our love would surely grow,
relatedness would start!"
How myriad the blocks that stand,
between two hopeful souls,
How blest we'd be with thoughts so grand,
while vaulting t'ward our goals!
Account we must for different lives,
for different genders,...race,
That when we speak...for each to thrive,
we must profusely grace!
Now when we think of those we meet,
among these bits and bites,
We must consider how we treat,
the ones we judge "Not Right!"
If but a moment you could trade,
perspectives with that one,
Whose "thoughtless" words have often made,
the clouding of your sun,
Then maybe you could know this, too,
that dictionaries are,
Created by the things we do,
not by a linguist star!
