Boy's Summer Day
Little boys with shovels and pails,
Running busily on sandy trails,
Looking for shells, sea horses and snails.
Building castles with towers and moats,
Happily sailing their tiny sea boats,
Heads bobbing, calmly as they float.
Jousting fiercely with armor and swords,
Defeating the wizards, the monsters, the dragons,
Rescuing the princess, the damsel and maiden.
Sleepily going home contented in dreams,
Carrying their treasures:
Pails full of shells, sea horses, and snails

Poetry: Nature's seasons
Apollo, how you drive your chariot across the sky
That blazes with the Summer's sun
And nurtures life for all that run
This

Nature's seasons are four in all,
Summer, Winter, Spring and Fall.
Varied, exciting colorful and real,
nature's seasons
Nature's seasons
Winter, cold, icy, full of snow
Toddy for the body, don't you know
Just a wee bit of Irish Whiskey
To keep
by Shirley Love
SPRING creeps up slowly, then bursts forth in glory,
Nurtures new life and rejuvenates old.
SUMMER is lazy, days hot and hazy,
Heat
Seasons
The turning leaves float on the breeze
Among the changing colors of the trees
The autumn sky goes on and on
Fallen leaves
