IRONIC LITTLE GIRLS

You're a baby with a big mouth. A little woman. You're threatened by the unknown so you threaten.

You're trapped in the world of your surroundings without a clue that you can escape it.

Stay away from the blows and callousness!
Leave your mothers past behind you.
Flee your fathers rage.
Shake off your families ruin.

You can be a WOMAN little girl.
You can be strong without fists or fury or belligerence. You can get away.

You can find love. IF you just love yourself.

Look at me here next to you.
You dislike me because I'm different but I've learned to look for better. For my children and myself.

...yet we are the same.

I know, I know we can be better than this pain that
exceeds us.

IF we can only believe. I SEE it in you, you SEE it in me.
Now if we could only see it in ourselves.

We wouldn't be here.
